+1 Stone Skipping Beginner Guide
Published · Updated
+1 Stone Skipping is built around a short loop that rewards repetition with visible progress. You start by raising Skill, the stat that controls how far your stone travels. You can stand in an auto-training area and let your avatar build stats, or head to the river and throw. Once the throw is underway, the stone skips across water zones and eventually sinks. The farther it travels, the more Wins you receive.
Wins are not just a score. They are the main currency for better stone types and pet eggs, so every long throw feeds directly back into your next attempt. Early coverage recommends prioritizing a better stone type before pets because stones are cheaper and provide an immediate additive Skill boost. Pets become increasingly valuable later because their Skill multiplier scales your training more dramatically.
Start With Training, Not Distance
The smaller water bodies beside the main river act as auto-training areas. Walking into one starts stat growth without requiring another throw. This is the simplest way to push toward the current level cap. When you are ready to test the result, move to the main river and press the on-screen Throw button.
The core controls are deliberately simple: WASD moves, Spacebar jumps, and E interacts. That leaves most of your attention on timing, positioning, and watching which river zone your stone can reach.
Spend Wins Deliberately
Stone types and pet eggs are the two most important early purchases. Stones give a direct Skill boost and help you reach farther zones sooner. Eggs hatch into companions that provide a Skill multiplier, but random hatching makes their value less predictable and the cost can be difficult to afford before your Wins income stabilizes.
If you want a broader reference while shopping, see the stone types database and pets and eggs database. For the full progression chain, the systems database explains how Skill, Wins, levels, and rebirth fit together.
Understand Zones And Worlds
River zones are milestones rather than cosmetic markers. Distance determines your Wins reward, so the difference between stopping just short of a zone and crossing it can be meaningful. As your Skill grows, farther zones become reachable and your income improves.
Clearing the final zone of your current map opens the next world. A new world raises the Skill requirements and offers better rewards, plus its own pets and throwable objects. The game advertises four worlds and 29 biomes, ranging from Sunny Shores to Candy Land. The zones database is a quick reference for the river and named biomes captured from current coverage.
Rebirth When Skill Is Blocked
Rebirth looks like a setback because it resets levels and Skill, but it also raises your level cap and applies a permanent Skill multiplier. That multiplier is substantial enough that subsequent training can recover the loss quickly. Repeated rebirths can unlock better auto-training areas, making the next cycle faster than the last.
In practice, rebirth becomes attractive when you hit the current level cap and cannot increase Skill further. Use the boost to push past your previous zone, then reinvest the extra Wins into stones, pets, and the next cycle.
Use Codes As A Head Start
Codes can provide extra Wins, Skill, potions, or eggs, but they may rotate out as milestones change. Before you grind manually, check the latest codes page. We keep unconfirmed rewards out of the list instead of presenting community claims as in-game verified facts.
